Review: How to Catch a Star

I recently read this story to my two-year-old daughter for the first time. It won't be the last.

This is the tale of a little boy who watches the stars and dreams of catching one. He can just see himself walking side by side with a star, playing games and being friends. All he has to do is catch one.

Off he sets, on a quest to catch a star.

He waits for one to fall - no luck. He tries to reach one in the sky - no luck. Will he ever be able to have the star he wants so desperately?

This is one of the most gorgeous, heartwarming stories I've read in a long time. The simple story has so much soul, so much character, so much... feeling.

The perfect bedtime story for the child who loves to dream big.
