The Indigenous Literacy Project

One of Australia's most important educational projects for children, the ILP raised a staggering $600,000 in 2010 - funds that will help address the appalling literacy rates in very remote Indigenous communities.

In the past five years, Founder Suzy Wilson and Chair David Gaunt have overseen the ILP's growth and reach - which started with just three remote communities in the Northern Territory and expanded in 2010 to over 200 communities across Australia.

KBR feels passionately about this vital project and is proud to support the ILP. We will be posting updates on the work they are doing - and in between posts please be sure to check out their website and join in their quest to change the lives of children all over Australia.
