Review: Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?

Featuring illustrations by Eric Carle (Mr Very Hungry Caterpillar himself) this book shows a variety of endangered animals – giant pandas, green sea turtles, bald eagles, and more.

Simply written, the focus is firmly on the types of animals and illustrations.

We have loads of fun reading this book, making animals sounds, predicting which animal is next and talking about endangered species. It opens the conversation about our environment and our impact on it in an age appropriate way.

This book is a firm favourite at our house and if I miss the section explaining about “Endangered Species” on the inside of the front cover I’m rather firmly instructed by the Bebito to “go back and read it please Mama.”
