Review: Museum of Thieves (The Keepers #1)

Move over Harry Potter, The Keepers have arrived and they are more than your equal. Goldie lives in a world where children are kept ‘safe’ at all costs. ‘Safe’ from kidnappers, deadly diseases and animals, but most of all, they are prevented from having any form of fun.

Curiosity is not allowed and questioning is a punishable offence. Unfortunately for Goldie, she is curious about everything, so she gets into trouble a lot.

She becomes a fugitive when she escapes. Hiding from the Guardians, she stumbles on another world that has been waiting for her. She is needed, not only to help guard the Museum’s secrets, but to save the world as she knows it.

Someone is unsettling the natural order of things. The result could cause the destruction of her entire village. Has she learned enough of the Guardians’ skills to save the day? There’s only one way to find out.

Museum of Thieves is an easy reading, high action winner. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for Book 2. Go on. Just try chapter one. You won’t regret it.
