Review: Why I Love My Daddy

Do you remember the world through your eyes as a child? Things were so black and white weren’t they? Your family were your whole universe. Do you remember looking (up) at your dad and thinking he was a super hero? I do. Actually, I still think my dad is a bit of a super hero.

All the words in this book are straight from the mouths of babes, as they say.

The concept of this reminds me of something you might have done as a class project with glue and glitter, and whatever else you could get your clag pasted hands on.

Well, here is a cleaner version of that.

On every page it has “I love my daddy because …” with a sweet response complimented by beautiful pictures of animal young with their daddies.

Matter of fact responses like “He carries me”, “He hugs me goodnight” and my favourite “He tickles me”.

This book is completely charming and I smiled a new smile on every page.

On the back page there is a little paper frame where you can put a photo of you and your dad in.

What a gorgeous book filled with beautiful warmth. Awww. Happy Fathers day!
