Event: One Word Day

{click to LIKE on facebook}

One Word One Day is a fundraiser for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and was created by the Australian Society of Authors and Micador.

It sprang from Micador's Mad Box Challenge where Micador sent a number of artists a box of their products and asked if they would like to use them to create an image.

We decided that it would be great to do this on a larger scale so that artists can have a rare opportunity to meet and work together, a chance to play with some quality art products and the creative community can raise money for books and art supplies for the ILF.

On the designated days in each state (below), artists will meet in the ABC foyers to create art around a mystery word. The images created at each event go to the ILF for an online auction which can be found on the Micador website.
