I’ve got 17 teapots.
 


2. What is your nickname? 


Mozz.
 


3. What is your greatest fear? 


Something really bad happening to the people I love.
 


4. Describe your writing style in ten words. 

 
Simple funny understated dramatic vivid short sentences not much punctuation.
 


5. Tell us five positive words that describe you as a writer.

6. What book character would you be, and why? 

The main character in my next book. I haven’t met him/her/it yet, but I can’t wait.
 


7. If you could time travel, what year would you go to and why? 


2099. To see if we make it.
 
 

8. What would your ten-year-old self say to you now? 

 
Why are you wasting time on these silly questions? There are heaps of books you haven’t written yet.
 


9. Who is your greatest influence? 

 
All the people I’ve shared love with.
 


10. What/who made you start writing? 


My imagination, my love of words, all the books I read in my childhood.
 


11. What is your favourite word and why? 

 
Library. It refers to all my favourite places in the world. Plus I like words with b and r in them.
 


12. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

 
The collected works of Gore Vidal, James Lee Burke, William Shakespeare, Roald Dahl, James Ellroy, Cormac McCarthy and Anna Fienberg (Bumper Edition).
