Ebook review: The Hippo, the Rhino, the Elephant and Me
What happens when a hippo, a rhino, an elephant and a little girl get together to play? Unadulterated mess, of course!
They may be an odd group of friends, but after a bout of hide and seek, fridge art, dress-ups and rock bands in the kitchen, things get awfully messy. And who's on hand to ensure our little roustabouts clean up after themselves? Mum, of course.
This latest ebook in the Ink Robin line up is yet another delightful, stunningly illustrated story for little ones, with the sweetest of characters and plenty to keep curious little fingers amused - from popping bubbles to spinning pigtails.
High-quality sound effects and thoroughly gorgeous, English accent narration (with options to 'read it to me' or 'read it myself') round out a sweet rhyming story, though I have to admit the rhyme is imperfect - only a minor frustration.
This is an original, fun and absolutely beautiful production from Ink Robin - who continue to be my favourite producer of ebook picture books.
The Hippo, the Rhino, the Elephant and Me is available on iTunes for $1.99.
