Shout Out: Enid Blyton's Secret Seven Gets a New Look

Following the highly successful Famous Five 70th anniversary celebrations and reissues, the next classic Blyton series gets a brand-new look for today's readers. The Secret Seven has undergone a revamp with a series of gorgeous new covers by British illustrator Tony Ross.

Reminiscent of Quentin Blake's squiggling, charming style, Tony has beautifully captured the spirit of the Secret Seven - with black and white illustrations peppering the books' pages throughout.

The Secret Seven are Peter and his sister Janet, Jack, Colin, George, Pam and Barbara. They meet every holiday in the shed at the bottom of Peter and Janet's garden - and solve mysteries, and eat lots of delicious food. But no one can enter the shed without whispering the secret password!

There are 15 Secret Seven novels, and a collection of short stories.

Looks like the Secret Seven have another interesting case to solve ...

Each book features rarely seen bonus Blyton: extra stories, a quiz, additional artwork and insights into Blyton's life and writing process.

Whether you're a past Bylton fan, or keen to introduce her work to the kids in your life, these new-look books are a sure-fire to attract even the most reluctant reader.
