Children's Week on Kids' Book Review!

Children’s Week is an annual Australian event, held in the fourth week of October (19 – 27 October in 2013). The Children’s Week Council of Australia website includes the following in the list of major aims of the week-long event:

• to celebrate the right of children to enjoy childhood
• offer opportunities for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities

At Kids’ Book Review we are embracing these aims by handing over our website to some talented kids from the 21st to the 27th October. While we keep things running behind the scenes, we will be publishing some great reviews and booklists written and compiled by children who love books.

We will also be sharing interviews, articles and guest posts by and about children who love to read and write, including some who have ventured to publish their own books.

Make sure you follow our Facebook page to receive updates as we post all the wonderful articles by and about these amazing kids. We’re excited and encouraged to see so much enthusiasm and passion for books in the younger generation and we know you will be too.
