Children's Week Special: An Aussie Year Colouring Pages

Meet Ned, Lily, Zoe, Kirra and Matilda - five Aussie kids ready to take you on a journey through a year in the life of Australian kids.

From festivals and events to games and sports, flora and fauna, quirky traditions and famous Aussie sites, An Aussie Year: Twelve Months in the Life of Australian Kids is a picture book bursting with national pride. It is a snapshot of who we are as a nation, covering our melting-pot culture, lifestyle and traditions.

An Aussie Year features meandering text and gorgeous illustrations from picture book newcomer, Brisbane-based Tina Snerling, which show our five Aussie children at play, at school, at home, and touring their homeland––from the tropical north to our rugged west. Trailing through the seasons and idiosyncrasies endemic to each month of the year, this is Our Australian Childhood.

An Aussie Year is launching Exisle Publishing's brand new children's imprint--EK Publishing. Stay tuned for our review of the book--this Friday 25 October!

As part of our Children's Week celebrations, we have six An Aussie Year colouring pages for you to print out and enjoy at home. Just click on the image and follow the instructions to print out each page. Continue to the bottom of the page to see the winning entries from our An Aussie Year colouring competition.
