Review: Squishy McFluff - The Invisible Cat!

Adore. Adore. Adore. Everything about this book, I simply adore. From it's adorable cover to its adorable characters and adorable text--it's just, quite simply, adorable!

Little Ava has a big imagination. When a fluffy, snowy white cat makes his way into Ava's world, out of the ether, things start out well, but soon become a little complicated.

Things get spilled. Texta appears on the curtain. Sweaters become unravelled. That naughty cat just can't stop causing mischief, and eventually Ava is called upon to rethink her new little friend.

Literally.

This is a such a bright star in the junior fiction world--a beautifully-rhyming text, a thoroughly entertaining, clever storyline that fully engages, and gorgeous illustrations that complement each and every word the whimsical plot. Just loving the retro-style, dual colours, too.

Divided into three chapters, with colourful, beautifully-designed and decorated pages throughout, this is one of my favourite junior fiction books in a very long time. Children will simply adore this.

But not as much as me.
