Review: Noisy Neighbours

Little Sid Snail is desperate for a nap, but his animal friends are busy making too noise.

The squirrels are running amok in the playground, the badgers are chattering, the owls are hooting--how is he expected to get some kip?

That's when he has a grand idea!

This is an adorable book for the very young, with charming rhyme (which does at times falter, alas) that will enchant kids, especially before bedtime.

Green's striking illustrations are an absolute joy and will appeal as much to big kids as little ones, with vibrant hues and a retro vibe. Typography is equally scrumptious.

A delicious picture book serving.
