Review: My First Book of ... Activity Books
I've always said, just because you're five, doesn't mean you can't appreciate and enjoy stunning book design. This new release series of astonishingly beautiful books showcases illustration and design at its best. Adults everywhere will be buying them just to ogle over, and perhaps--just maybe--pass on them onto tots when they're done.
These activity books (in my eyes, they're also picture books) are gorgeously illustrated by Laura Prim, an artist with a deep understanding of colour, texture and whimsy.
Pages feature classic activity book fun, from-seek and-find, counting and number-matching, to drawing prompts and memory games. Divine stickers are also included, though kids may be tempted to decorate their rooms with them instead.
A whole lot of educational fun for kids, wrapped in utterly beautiful packaging. What more could you need?
