Review: I Love You Night and Day

Bear and Bunny love each other a high as the sky, as deep as the ocean and as wide as the whole world in this joyful celebration of love and friendship.

Written in rhyming text by Smriti Prasadam-Halls and accompanied by delightful illustrations by Alison Brown, I Love You Night and Day is a gorgeous story celebrating relationships with all their highs and lows and just how much our friends and family mean to us.

The front cover illustration brings bedtime to mind, but inside Bear and Bunny explore the hills, ocean, sunny sky, mountains, snow and rain puddles as they think about their friendship.

I love the variety of adjectives used to describe how Bear and Bunny feel about each other (tall, deep, strong, small, soft, loud, close, tight) as well as the mention that true friendships sometimes have to overcome disagreements and challenges.

This beautiful book is a perfect bedtime story for toddlers and preschoolers.
