12 Curly Questions with author Tim Miller

1. Tell us something hardly anyone knows about you. 
Growing up I wanted to be a cartoonist. Or a superhero. Or both.

2. What is your nickname?  
Timbo

3. What is your greatest fear?
Snakes. The big kind. With the scales. And the slithering. And the spine-tingling grossness.

4. Describe your writing style in ten words.
Awesome and hilarious. Oh and perfect - my editor loves that.

5. Tell us five positive words that describe you as a writer. 
Creative.
Funny.
Spontaneous.
Insane.
Witty.

6. What book character would you be, and why?
Peter Pan because who wants to grow up?

7. If you could time travel, what year would you go to and why? 
The Triassic Period (230 million years ago) so I can see dinosaurs roaming the earth. So cool!

8. What would your ten-year-old self say to you now? 
‘You still think farts are funny? You haven’t grown up at all … Good work!’

9. Who is your greatest influence? 
Dr Seuss – his rhyme is ridiculous

10. What/who made you start writing?
I started writing because I loved reading and I loved books. I wanted to tell stories.

11. What is your favourite word and why? 
Cahoots. Because it sounds cool when you say it.

12. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
