Review: What's in My Lunchbox?

What's in my lunchbox? A boring old apple. Not interested. I don't like apples. Why can't there be anything more exciting in there?

What's in my lunchbox? A fish!? What the? Carrying a sushi platter? Um. No. Exciting, maybe, but not very edible. I don't like fish.

What's in my lunchbox? B-KERK!! But I don't like eggs!

And so on goes this line-up of lunchbox disasters that will have both mum and kid nodding their heads over the packed lunch conundrum. That is, until those lunches start getting awfully kooky!

This is a fun, page-turning story that's deceptively simple yet highly entertaining for little ones. Kids aged one to five will delight in discovering what might next appear in our young man's packed lunch.

Kat Chadwick's gorgeous illustrations carry the text beautifully and the endpapers are utterly adorable.

A great book for reading aloud.
