12 Curly Questions with Junior Reviewer Aria Reihana

Today, Kid's Book Review is overjoyed to introduce our newest team member, junior reviewer, Aria Reihana. Aria is a keen lover of the ocean, surfing and books! Join us as she takes us on a thrilling ride through some of her favourite books, along with many other new exciting titles.

1. Tell us something hardly anyone knows about you.
I love Brussels sprouts!!


2. What is your nickname?
Aridi

3. What is your greatest fear?Nothing, I’m fearless!

4. Describe your writing style in ten words. I am good at writing interesting stories about fairy tales.

5. Tell us five positive words that describe you as a writer.Good, awesome, funny, thoughtful, interesting

6. What book character would you be, and why? Ava, from the Surf Riders Club, because she likes surfing.

7. If you could time travel, what year would you go to and why? 1800s because it would be fascinating to see how people lived back then.

8. What would your ten-year-old self say to you now? I would say to myself ‘Do the dishes!’ oh that was Mum butting in!

9. Who is your greatest influence? Mr M, my year 5 teacher because he is funny and cool.

10. What/who made you start writing?
Mum, because she is a writer too.


11. What is your favourite word and why?
‘Purple’ because it is my favourite colour and purple is awesome!

12. If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?The Naughtiest Children in the World by David Walliams.

Aria is 10 years old. She loves to read book after book after book. Her favourite colour is purple and her favourite number is 27. She loves to surf and dance and play basketball. Aria thinks animals are important and would one day like to be an wildlife rescuer and carer and a pro surfer!
