Review: Follow Me Around the World

Follow Me Around the World is a new interactive experience in the Finger Maze series by Priddy Books. Each double page spread is dedicated to a particular part of the world and is jam packed with illustrated landmarks, characters to find, and a grooved path finger maze to follow.

The book explores North America, Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and Australasia, each with many pictures to spark learning and form a basis for educational discussion. The text is fun and instructs readers to find characters on each page. At the end of the journey a map recaps the explored locations, the characters met and landmarks discovered.

Children are sure to love the starring character ‘Fox’ and the many other cute characters. My favourites are the parrot reading a map in South America and the sausage swinging, lederhosen wearing cat in Europe.

Follow Me Around the World is interactive and fun to read out loud. The design is bright, bold and tactile with thick board pages making it a fun learning experience for young children.
