The Adventures of Catvinkle is a tail-spin of a tale that will have you howling with laughter –
and remind you that if you aren’t open to adventure, you might never meet your best friend.
Elliot was inspired to write The Adventures of Catvinkle while on a book tour in Amsterdam, when he came across a cat sleeping lazily in a bay window.
He says: ‘this triggered the thought of a blissed-out, slightly selfish, cat having its world turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of an animal long totally reviled by cats, namely a dog. But then I wondered, what if the dog was so lovely, sweet, innocent and friendly that the cat couldn’t help itself but fall head-over-heels for the dog.What then? How would they negotiate the tricky worlds of cat and dog communities’ expectations?’

Competition is open to anyone, worldwide, so long as they have an Australian postal address for delivery of the books. Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Competition runs from 5 pm Friday 26 October to 5 pm Saturday 3 November 2018. Adults can enter for those aged 17 and under. This is a game of skill, not chance. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
