Review: We Are Family

We Are Family is a sweet story about the different ways families, particularly siblings show and share their love for each other.

Each double-page spread focuses on a family of animals in situations which will be familiar to children with siblings, such as swimming, dressing up, sharing and disagreements. The animal families include ducks, monkeys, pandas, frogs and more. There is love, joy and adorable little faces on every page!

Along with delivering a message about family love, the content may help children to recognise and feel at ease with their own feelings and emotions in family circumstances.

The illustrations are fun with a bright and bold acrylic paint feel and are sure to be loved by little ones. Of all the animal families, my favourite is a mother polar bear sharing a pink milkshake with her six baby cubs.
