This delightful early chapter book by author Amelia Cobb is perfect for any reader who loves animals, especially mischievous meerkats. The adorable illustrations perfectly capture the animals featured in the zoo and our heroine Zoe.

To help promote the zoo, Zoe decides to create a treasure hunt, so people will discover how cool the zoo is and the wonderful animals who call it home.

Life gets even more exciting when Zoe discovers Mo the hippo keeper working on a new enclosure. Goodness knows what animals Great Uncle Horace has been rescuing now?

To Zoe’s surprise it’s a family of six adorable meerkats rescued from the depths of Botswana.

On the day of the treasure hunt, everything seems to be going to plan. That is until Max the mischievous meerkat decides he wants to explore and have some fun. Max likes nothing more than to sun himself on his favourite log and dig tunnels.  However, this time he manages to dig a tunnel all the way under and out the other side of his enclosure.
