It was a joy to share it with my children, in each scenario we discussed memories and possibilities of similar moments and events.
Katie Wilson’s illustrations with watercolour textures and a handcrafted feel are a perfect fit for Penny Harrison’s gentle enchanting words. I adore the cover art with speckles of spot varnish glimmering amongst the leaves in a scene showing a child and a dog walking in the forest.
