Review: Puffin Little Historian: Dinosaurs

Do you love dinosaurs? Do you know someone who does?

Join little puffin in his dinosaur museum and learn about the prehistoric world in this lovely non-fiction gem.

Part of the Puffin Little, Little Historian series, Dinosaurs explores everything about dinosaurs, from what exactly they are (and why no dinosaurs swam in the seas), evolution, extinction, fossils and palaeontology.

The book explores the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and goes into loads of details on a range of different dinosaurs from each period.

There’s all your favourites and the well knowns, plus lots of others you’ll likely never have heard of. The info is easy to read in large text, the explanations are simple and kid-friendly, and there’s loads of extra details for the dinosaur-extremist who wants to know all the things!

In typically Puffin Little style, the book is scattered with lovely illustrations in black, white, grey and a featured coloured (this time purple). It’s very welcoming and engaging — the perfect bite-sized fact book.
