Review: Bad Bunny

We all know that most bunnies are adorable and fluffy and generally like frolicking around the woods, handing out chocolate Easter eggs and occasionally befriending little baby deer... but there is one bunny that is NOT like the other bunnies at all. They call him the bad bunny, and this is his story.

The Bad Bunny is very different from the other bunnies, he enjoys all kinds of naughty things like picking his nose, bathing in slime and putting spicy sauce on everything – especially donuts, of course! In fact, he really doesn't have many redeeming qualities at all, and the other bunnies do not enjoy his company one bit.

But one day a fox comes to eat ALL the bunnies, and the bad bunny will have to pull his finger out of his nose and stand up to the sly fox using his powers of bad – for good. The other bunnies then realise that maybe it's not so bad to have a wicked friend around to do the dirty work – they will just have to put up with his stinky toots.

Bad Bunny is a delightfully funny story that will have kids in hoots as it hits all the right spots. Kids love a naughty protagonist and they don't get much naughtier than the bad bunny. The story is told in rhyme so it is easy to follow along and reads aloud well. The illustrations are especially cool with sketchy styled drawings with plenty of gooey greens of slime and snot, and bright red-hot sauce. The bad bunny's face expression and giant oversized eye will grab any kid’s attention.

Bad Bunny is a super enjoyable read that will have the whole family laughing out loud.
