Junior Review: Farhenheit 451

Do you love Dystopia / Science Fiction  then Fahrenheit 451 is the book for you.

A world where firemen don’t deal with fires, but their purpose is to burn books.

Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature at which paper burns . A dystopian universe crafted by Ray Bradbury where Guy Montag chooses to challenge everything he’s ever believed.

After meeting an inquisitive young girl Charisse, Montag decides to go on a treacherous journey to figure out what caused the end of free speech and literature. While naive Montag doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into, sometimes not asking questions about things, the answers might scare you.

Author Ray Bradbury paints images in the readers minds, with characters ranging from those who are trying to conform to the norms of society to the rebels who break all the rules. It will make you think about the importance of literature and exploration and the dangers of a society intellectually impoverished.

The prose weaves a story filled with loss and dark messages, which will raise questions about how a silenced society can be deathly. Combining thought provoking and science fiction, making for an essential need that will leave a lasting impression.

This book also is a pretty straightforward and easy read. You are sure to enjoy it .
