Review: Britannica's Encyclopedia Infographica

Encyclopedia Infographcia is one for all bookshelves. It contains astonishing information on outer space, mother earth, natural and man-made wonders, animals, humans, technology… you name an idea, and it will almost certainly be addressed in some way within the pages of this tome.

And a bonus – unlike my previous sentence, it’s not particularly wordy!

Encyclopedia Infographica allows us to take a look at what happens every single second across our world. To ask just what are the ‘wonders of wee’ and how long does a fox live for?

Then, it provides the answers to these questions along with other mysterious facts and figures, in a myriad of wonderful ways.

Illustrated with stunning photos, art and over 200 original infographics, this book is engaging, accessible and also great fun! I particularly love the many faces of a pug as compared to a blueberry muffin, in a discussion about AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Also, keep your eyes peeled for the wonderful addition of interviews to ‘meet the experts’ who have been consulted in the creation of this work.

Perfect for visual and other learners, the infographic illustrations combined with chatty and interesting information will easily satisfy young, eager minds. I’m going to go out on a limb and claim that this book will also appeal to the info-nerds who know everything about everything!

It’s simply a must.
