Review: Kevin Saves The Show

Kevin the Sheep hosts a song competition.

It’s karaoke – just one-dollar admission!

But who’s the new sheep that the spotlight’s revealed?

And how has such talent been so well concealed?

This rhyming, karaoke-rich riot of a book features our favourite Kevin the sheep, along with many other farm animals. Both Polly the pig in her delightful frock and make-up, and Gary the goat who may just be bringing leg-warmers back into fashion, make special appearances.

But the star of the show, and the talking point for everyone in the audience, is the new sheep - who is such a slam dunk performance hit, that the verdict is unanimous. He wins the show and the karaoke competition.

Sooo… what is a collective farmyard to do when a long-time dangerous enemy dresses up to disguise himself, wins over the audience and then claims that he just wants to be friends?
Should the farmyard give this mystery performer the benefit of the doubt?

You’ll have to have a read to find out!

This delightful book begs to be read (and laughed at) out loud, with its outrageous rhyme, magnificent illustrations, and totally feel-good story.

It also very cleverly encourages readers to be authentically themselves, by celebrating difference and non-judgement.

Kevin Saves The Show brings us the very best of picture book rhyme, colour, delight and surprise.
